almost reached the end of facebook.
I've been thinking about why most AI advice for CEOs is useless. It's not wrong. It's just backwards.

We are told that leaders need to "learn AI" when we should be focusing on specific problems to solve. Wrote some thoughts on what actually works instead.

Stop Telling CEOs to Learn AI. Start Telling Them What to Build. | Rudiger J. Ellis (Rudy)

Claude Code v2.1.0 just dropped with 112 improvements. One tiny but mighty update: automatic skill hot-reload. Edit skills in `~/.claude/skills` and they're instantly live, no restart needed.

Building and iterating on skills just got so much smoother. This is the kind of update that compounds.

Day 2: thought I'd hit the ground running but missed a call, got distracted by three different tools I wanted to try, and ended up doing none of what I planned. The friction of getting back in the flow is real. Sometimes the break itself is easier than the restart.

First day back at work and I'm already automating something that annoyed me last year. CEOs who code on the side have an unfair advantage. You see a problem, you build a tool, move on. No meetings, no approval chains.

How do you encourage your team to build their own tools?

App store rankings won't be dominated by venture-backed teams with 50+ devs. They'll be filled with solo founders using Claude Code to build hyper-specific tools in hours.

Think, CRM for antique watch dealers or appointment booking for one barbershop.

The middle is melting. The future is micro.

Just shipped an MCP server that handles cross-platform posting from Claude. Write once, it adapts for X and Bluesky, analyzes with Grok, then posts to both. No more copy-pasting between apps. Anyone else automating their social workflow?

Your product doesn’t need more features.
It needs more marketing 📣

Does anyone else talk to Claude like it's their new best friend?

If you had 30 days to build a startup & $0 budget; what would you build first?

• SaaS
• AI tool
• Chrome extension
• Newsletter
• Agency

Saying “No” holds immense power. Developing the ability to say “No” is one of the most valuable skills you can acquire.

Chrome drops Split View and I'm like... this is literally for vibe coding.

Left tab: agent spitting out instructions.
Right tab: the thing I'm actually making.

Anyone using this flow yet?

Future of software isn’t endless boilerplate.
It’s markdown folders thatare discoverable instructions agents actually follow.

Like a handbook your AI assistant reads and uses.
This is how the next companies get built. Agree? 🤔

nothing is worse than a user landing on your mvp and finding a sleeping database.

the free tier struggle is real.

i love tools that do one thing and do it well.

Wild. anthropic.com just doubled usage limits for Pro/Max plans through New Year's Eve.

If you're a busy CEO building with Claude Skills, this is your window to ship faster without hitting rate limits.

How many non-coding technical CEOs now feel empowered to build anything, yet they’re struggling to stay focused on tasks that drive revenue? I’m curious to know. 😏

I must say, I’m a big fan of Claude Code. If you’re interested and haven’t started yet, I’m more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

The best co-founder of the year didn't ask for equity.
It didn't need a vesting schedule or a laptop.

I used to think you needed a technical partner to ship fast.
Now I just open a new chat.

Claude writes the code, fixes the bugs, and explains the logic.

Stop waiting for a CTO.
Start prompting.

It blows my mind that agent skills are just folders of instructions they can discover and use..

Simple but so powerful.

We’re moving from rigid software to "skill libraries" agents browse.

Leverage is getting easier to find.

Just build the folder and let them work.

Agentic AI tools are 🤯. I get all the concepts inside out but don’t code.

Now when I think ‘I need this internal tool,’ I just build and ship it myself that day. No dev teammate required.

Seriously feels like the sky’s the limit. You can truly build anything. Anyone else in the same camp?

So I’m trying to build a nomadic CEO community? Any suggestions on where I should focus efforts first?
