Got Endfield working on linux. Lesson learned, don't use Lutris, download the official launcher and launch it through Steam with DW-Proton.

I think it's unfair that WuWa's name is still fairly contentious among gacha spaces and certain content creators (aka grifters) just because of its origins as a janky Genshin clone. The game went from improving as a means of survival to improving just because it can. It consistently brings me back.

spent 3 1/2 hours downloading Endfield on slow work wifi only for it to not work on Bazzite with any wrappers or runners, so I just grabbed the folder and dragged it to my Windows partition to play it there lmao.

One step closer to being able to pose in Linux. I decided that I liked Bazzite enough to give it 1.5-ish TB on my 2TB secondary drive so I can install more mods and also games like Endfield. Endfield should work on Linux if I use Proton GE.

I really love that Kuro is letting us explore Rover's past with each patch. They give just enough info for us to piece together whatever they were doing back then, and with Lahai-Roi it feels like we're going to get answers on what they are, where they came from, and why they wiped their memories.

My Linux adventures are going extremely well. After the secure boot thing, I haven't had any issues that necessitated use of the Terminal. So far sleep still doesn't work, which I've chalked up to the laptop itself based on Google searches. The screen recorder also spits out corrupted videos.

If the Discord change does go through, I'll find ways to bypass it, or spread info on the down low on what other people are doing to bypass it. They're sure as hell not farming info from me or any of my friends. I'll even try using FFXIV to bypass it if I have to.

This Discord dogshit is legit the one thing I would give people a pass on using AI for. Generate the faces and the IDs and submit them. If Death Stranding photo mode can bypass it, then so can this.

The fact that only youtubers are talking about the fact that a certain big "review" site gave Iron Lung a 4/10 brings me joy. It means people generally don't take them seriously, and for good reason. Their "reviews" are really just them predicting which score would give them the most clicks.

installed Bazzite on my laptop. Supposedly, all of my problems with Linux were actually with Ubuntu.
Immediately I had to disable Secure Boot and run a command, then install keys or some shit, and then re-enable it. Cool. It's also asking for my password for everything.

Those switch 2 brainworms got smashed. The price and the game selection being mostly $70 and $80 games (half of which are switch 1 games and other games already being on PC) really turned me away at the store. I've decided that I'd rather max out a Steam Deck OLED. ~$200 more but 2000x the value.
