So, Lost Ark has a new class that was released earlier this morning. There's an event, "Mokoko Express" which is supposed to give you a lot of free materials for gearing up your character. There are 4 steps, each one for reaching a new gear milestone (1640, 1660, 1670, 1680) and finally 1700.
