Attention to both the social and circular economy continues to decline at national level. In 2025 only 1️⃣1️⃣ Member States introduced social economy reforms, and 1️⃣6️⃣ included circular economy measures, a significant drop compared to 2023 and 2024.

After months of delay, the EU Parliament has voted on the revision of the #WFD. This means mandatory EPR for textiles and recognition of social enterprises' key role. But Europe’s textile system is in crisis. Member States must act fast, and the EU must deliver a Textile Emergency Plan. rb.gy/evytxn
