I love Boulder, except when the high winds blow. Electricity off! Ever since I was really young, reading books about high winds making women on the prairies crazy? I have been a bit crazy with wind. Damn!!! Turn our electrify back on, Excel!! I need to be a survivalist.

Elf on the shelf started in 2005. Thank god. I thought I must have been a terrible mother not to have hidden one. I feel better now. My son and I were much too old by then. I had to finally look it up. It had been bugging me!!!

Apparently it’s a crime to remind military members to follow the law and refuse illegal orders (something that it is ingrained in basic) and the pentagon can recall you into the service to discipline you. However, the pentagon will not prosecute you for dodging the draft five times.
