impossible to have conversations in my family without interruptions, this is normal
I know it’s not technically polite, but I love having a conversation with other people who are comfortable with short interjecting interruptions. To me it makes the conversation feel more like something we’re weaving together rather than alternating individual presentations. It feels more alive.

Horrific: Doctors Without Borders is suspending medical work in Gaza City due to Israel's violence, including airstrikes & tanks less than 1KM from their facilities.

Comes same day Netanyahu used his UN speech to scold dozens of nations for accusing him of committing war crimes.

Learning from Professor Gearty was a highlight of my LLM. He was
the best kind of academic - brilliant and principled, while also generous and warm, always willing to extend time to students. So sad to hear this.
Conor Gearty, a professor of human rights law at the LSE and a regular contributor to the 𝘓𝘙𝘉, has died at the age of 67.

In 2022, he wrote a piece for the paper on the UK Supreme Court; a follow-up will be published in a future issue.

It is unconscionable that Canada is refusing to process the immigration applications of students in Gaza accepted to Canadian schools.

Two have already died while waiting.

This is an atrocity and universities should be intervening.

Zohran’s campaign was a masterclass on how to galvanize progressives in 2025.

“Mamdani’s politics feel fresh and urgent. He isn’t interested in managing broken systems; he’s instead keen on trying to remake them.”

It turns out it is possible to energize progressives in 2025. Toronto can learn from the man making it happen
Zohran Mamdani's rapid rise in popularity has happened because, not in spite of, his progressive politics.
