It’s cold and raining here in NM. And I’ve been missing home. The warm cozy food my parents would cook for my siblings and me. So I decided to call mom and dad and asked how they made one particular dish. It came out so good. It warmed my spirit and I’m smiling. I love my parents. And I feel whole.

Here on the Rez and the rain is lingering around. As if the raindrops are here wanting to lounge and see what we’re up too. It’s bringing back memories of when I’d go hiking with my dad after it rains seeing the water slide down the rocks, and the smell of wet dirt. It’s a beautiful memory.

It’s not hard… to make coffee. But when you have choices of syrups, creamers, sweeteners… well your coffee can become thee elixir of life… or a cup of disappointing life choices. God I hope I mixed my coffee well this morning.

lately my body has been all weak with caffeine. The way I’ve been getting way too jittery when having my favorite coffee. So I’ve been getting my caffeine from other sources. today a Pepsi zero. is it better? No. Is it something my body is okay with? As of right now, yeah. #yahdillaRowie
