On the coach from Cuernavaca to Mexico City a few days ago I was watching Beetlejuice 2. I just learned that Catherine O'Hara passed away and I'm stunned! Truly sad 😭

Thanks Cate! I still have a Twitter account but I'm so lost there because I don't see anyone I used to interact with.

True, I don't know too much about her to be honest but that's pretty commendable. Well, now I'm thinking about art and artists in different ways, which is one of the many reasons I love the arts. And thank you:)

Thanks! I appreciate your insight. If I can get a ticket easily I'll visit.

You're welcome! Nice to see you too! I've been ill on and off for a few months so I haven't been on here much.

I meant shallow for thinking I like her work just because I like her as an icon. I totally agree that not everything is for everyone. It just hit me while talking about her that her work doesn't really appeal to me but I like her story.

It’s the anniversary of Hogarth’s birthday. The dog you have is always the best, but Hogarth was a special guy.

I'd considered going to the new Frida Kahlo museum but then I remembered I don't really like her work, I like her as an icon though, which is pretty shallow for an art-lover. I do think I'll go to see some Remedios Varo artwork because she is an artist I do like.

Going back to Mexico on Thursday but this time for 10 days. I love that my new phone plan gives me free data and calling in Mexico.

'The Granary at Charleston,' was painted by Vanessa Bell in 1940, one of the coldest and most severe winters in nearly 50 years.

Embroidery-wise? Currently nothing but I always had this idea to replicate one of my travel photos into embroidery. Maybe I'll start with a scene from Patagonia, I'll keep you posted!

Aww, thanks Tim! I used to share my embroidery on Twitter, I definitely want to get back to it:)
