Waiting for pizza dough to finish rising, may as well have a beer.

BREWERS BALL 6 – CLASH OF THE GREATS ⚾🍻 is this Sunday at Collective Arts in Hamilton.

If you can some celebrate and raise funds for McMaster Children’s Hospital and drink some beers along the way.

I am so glad I was able to help in my little way, adding some of my art.

The garden is doing pretty well this year. Lots of tomatoes, beans, onions, garlic, raspberries, hot peppers, and horseradish

Sunny Sunday Funday. Having an Avling Brewery (Toronto ON) British Ale and floating.

Post shift beer. Skeleton Park Brewery (Kingston ON) Amber 6.6. My favorite beer from these guys. Rich, velvety mouthfeel, notes of dark bread, slight bitter middle with a tannin like bite on the finish.

Post shift beer. Avling Brewery British Ale. Caramel, toffee, biscuit, and a slightly dry finish.

Nothing says successful brew day like a nice 12% roasty chocolate bomb. Surly Darkness 2024.

It's abeautiful day for brewing. Today's brew is an experiment with Special B, Vienna, Maris Otter, & Crystal 40 malts with Battle House (Almonte, ON) Galena & home grown Fuggle hops & Windsor & Nottingham yeast. It's another FAFO beer. When you have leftovers that need to be used, you use them.

Tuesday lunchtime activity or inactivity as it were. Sunshine and pale ale in the pool, that's all I need.

"Gardening" with my wife. 8 got the better end of the deal.

1988 classic Akira in 4k and an amber ale. Thursday is going well.

Sometimes Wednesday calls for a strong drink. Surly Brewing (Minneapolis)2024 Cola Darkness answers the call. Orange on the nose, chocolate upfront that morphs into a vanilla molassesy cola flavor. It's odd that this works so well, but it's a winner.

Recently returned from a trip to visit my daughter in the States, brought back the requisite 3 Floyds zombie dust. Does anyone else remember when this was hard to get?

My first delivery from Proof Whisky Collective by Okanagan Spirits in BC arrived today. I guess I know what I'm drinking tonight.

Friday, 20C, and partly sunny. Perfect conditions for The Pale Shadow Over Innsmouth, my traditional English pale ale. Hits all the notes. Malty backbone, toffee, caramel, and a floral hit that transitions to a bitter finish.

Smooth Smokey malts and vanilla.
Understated Cherry and chocolate creamy non-sweet taste.
Love it, probably like it more on Cask, but still.
Cheers 🍻

I was going to keg another batch of The Pale Shadow Over Innsmouth today, but decided to drink cocktails instead. This is a recipe I'm created after talking to @beernouveau.co.uk. It's a traditional English style pale that comes in at 4.6%. it's my go-to beer.
