1) PIP is not a ‘benefit’ of disability, it’s welfare support to cover the additional costs of living with chronic illness or disability - medicine, transport, therapy, specialist equipment (and no, not all of these are available on the NHS)

Something I used to do in the old little blue bird world was put together a list of opportunities, commissions, funding, jobs and other things of note which had a relevance to those working in dance, theatre and the performing arts.

I am so very sad to hear about Gillian. We collaborated closely volunteering for Westminster Mutual Aid during the early stages of the pandemic. She was incredibly generous and devoted to helping others. She made a massive difference to so many, particularly those needing advice on financial aid
