biz udmincho's gotta be one of my all time favorites. i enjoy liberation serif as well, & have been using it predominately for the past two years just to experiment outside of biz udmincho, but gaaaah there's something so cozy about it

it is sad how little money artists get from streaming stuff, especially the most popular platforms. i remember listening to one album alllllll the time for a year straight, & then found out that the artists might have gotten a couple of pennies from the year i listened to it.

more of it means nothing unless they think they feel heavier, or they seek out some sort of imitation-organ to get pseudobiological feedback from it, just for fun. it's arbitrary, an empty, pointless whimsy, & i enjoy that they get to experience that

they are post-biology. extra weight is something ornamental in most all cases. their muscles & organs don't struggle against it, because they don't have those things: they move because they decided to move, they breathe because they decided to breathe. at most, it's shifting how they walk & move

but it's how it goes. there's no feedback for how much change there actually is unless you seek it out. it just feels arbitrarily "kinda bigger." especially for simple fixes like this one was; we didn't have to adapt our methods much at all. i imagine it's a pain for realism, but it fits the setting

we were worried that we gave a "tummy nerf" to the character (cause they are a returning one, we'll repost the original soon!), so we just kinda aimlessly tweaked parts until it looked a bit nicer. afterwards we looked up & went "oh this looks totally different than the original but oh well"

mhm! & ya, the jumping mechanic has just left a lot of weirdness when it comes to shooting. aiming is a bit awkward generally, & it takes some getting used to. glad you've enjoyed it so far though!

but if you're patient with gameplay, enjoy exploring roguelite items, & enjoy some nicely done spectacle, we'd recommend it. it was a lotta fun! just do not look into it at all (wiki, steam community, yadda), it'll be quickly spoiled

we enjoyed it a bunch! while we don't wanna spoil much of the later content, they do get impressively artsy with things. the gameplay can get tedious at times on some difficulties (standard TBOI roguelite fare: just a lot of item collecting & either be waaay over powered or run through a slog)
