we are on this color theory nonsense again. it might not make much sense if you haven't read our rambling on relative palettes within gamut masks, or are unfamiliar with gamut masks, but aaaaaaaaa we are pinning down things finally

To the left is a list of the different colors used, noted with their steps, & if they are blended with a color in front of behind them. For example, 2 is the 2nd color in the star palette if you start with the pale red color. 2B is the 2nd color blended with the first, 2A the 2nd blended with the 3rd. The same painting as the first, but instead of a star-shaped palette, one that is kite-shaped within the 120 degree isosceles gamut mask. The painting has different colors relatively, not something achieved by a hue shift. Again, the same painting with another palette, this time with a 300 degree gamut mask containing a square shape.
