I think I'll have to put Taylor Swift in my thesis acknowledgements at this stage.

It's a weird and embarrassing hill to die on, that your reason for thinking the new Frankenstein is bad is because it's faithful to the novel? Jesus wept.

Jacob Elordi is a very sympathetic monster in this visually stunning but thematically lacking film, which co-stars Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth

Shout out to Hachette for sending me a copy of 'The House of Wolf' by Tony Robinson which will be published in September.
"An earthy, entertaining and gloriously witty recreation of Alfred the Great and the making of England". One happy little bookseller here. 😁 #Booksky

This small medieval church (built circa 1300) in Monkstown became a graveyard in the 1650s, when the first owners of Monkstown Castle died. It's now abandoned but it's a great spot for some peace in the evenings. #SpeirGorm #HistorySky #MedievalSky

My great granduncle was called the three century man, having lived from 1897-2001. He played in the Cork senior hurling team. My favourite story is him stubbornly navigating the roads of Cork to get to matches, as they were blocked off by Black and Tans.
Anyway, UP CORK.

Proquest's AI research assistant is currently suggesting old articles from The Sun. Somehow I don't think almost ten year old paparazzi pics are relevant to Old English renditions of Alexander the Great. 🤨
