Some sort of "narrative" "designer".

Not afraid of scare quotes.

I'd love to see game dev unions focus on advocacy for policy changes so groups like @gumbonyc.bsky.social can purchase group health insurance for members. A lot of game devs are freelancers / contract workers, esp. these days where w2 jobs are scarce. For some, it's literally life and death.

People will literally throw gender reveals, mutilate their intersex kids’ natural genitalia, and tell their three-year-old girls to cross their legs to be lady-like but insist they don’t do “gender stuff” — bih! You’re locked in a gender prison!

Guys I’m so excited about going to NarraScope this weekend (you can still get online tix!). @shelbymoledina.bsky.social and I have been cooking up a great talk on writing for short attention spans (wouldn’t know anything about that) and I’m a judge on the showcase! narrascope.org/schedule/#ta...

Education is quite literally rebellion. If we don’t continue to train ourselves to do things that machines are imitating admirably, not only will we be replaced, we will be taken out of the broader conversation entirely when it comes to politics, art etc. Those things shouldn’t be run by elites.

Bruh we need an overhaul on this shiz. I don’t want to scroll recipe sites and then get sent back up to the top as soon as I ACTUALLY get to the recipe
Recipe sites really heard, "No one likes scrolling through an essay about your childhood before the recipe," and went, "Fine! How about an essay explaining what every ingredient is, one at a time?" Now cookies have to tell me what sugar does. And someone will still sub peas and give it 1 star.

this is the first pride month i have gotten to actually enjoy since coming out of the closet in 2020 and i just want to say:

• it gets easier

• the lights burn brighter when there’s so much darkness

• take hold of your community and love everyone in it

• happy pride, everyone

Many diasporic Jews want to ascribe humane or rational states of mind to Israeli settlers… unfortunately, widespread state propaganda, generational trauma, and devout adherence to an exceedingly exclusionary and tribal religion has led to this. youtu.be/lrdldVhfbaU

AI will be so very bad for humanity — for our ability to do, create, act. A major part of rebelling against what is to come is to be better than the machine. Do what it cannot. Hone your craft! Be original! Be less derivative and more experimental! Subvert known patterns! Explore!

Respectfully, the issue of anti-semitism at this moment is as important as the issue of anti-German sentiment at the time of the Holocaust. During a genocide, the perpetrator must still be stopped regardless of infractions against them. Having said that, we can only learn to stop the hideous swing/
