My face when some people are still so obsessed with the Jonathan-Nancy-Steve love triangle/rivalry that they send hate over it:

Man, JK soft-launching his bisexuality by saying he had a crush on “both” the foxes from Disney’s Robin Hood was not on my end-of-year bingo card.

I mean, fork found in kitchen, but still. Good for him.

(One step closer to my ultimate impossible dream: JK egg crack.)

It’s my fault. Every time I think that I should spend some time updating my bookmarks, and make plans to do so, AO3 goes down. It seems to be back for now but still.

Sorry, guys 😞 I know not the power that I wield.

I feel the same way about Nancy Wheeler’s romance prospects as I do about Sansa Stark’s. In that I have my ship that I’d prefer to see, but if my options are “she’s in love but curtails her dreams” or “she achieves her dreams alone” I’d rather she end up alone

Nancy x happiness is the ultimate ship

Seems that someone beat me to the “Steve Harrington Time Travel AU” idea. Again. Eh, my own fault for sitting on my own idea for so long and not actually doing anything with it yet.

Just means that I have to make mine extra good when I can actually write it, lol.

Can certain writers on AO3 please please please for the love of god STOP posting the first chapter of your obviously multi chapter fic and marking it COMPLETE, and then adding to it later, rather than listing it as INCOMPLETE?

I’ve seen this a few times recently and it’s making me very frustrated.

I bet you that the people in the ST fandom who love to hate on Steve and his fans, and who say that the show is “for the nerds/marginalized,” are also the kinds of people who think Eddie did nothing wrong ever in his life and that Dustin, Mike, and Erica skipping out on Lucas’ game is totally fine.

Steve. And Eddie. Both of them.

Although Eddie only does when he’s specifically eating *Steve’s* pussy, so…

And with that, this phase of the album project has come to a close.

Ordinarily the next one would be in December, but I’ve got too much going on right now. Going to take a long break.

I think I’ll listen to some new albums for myself for a bit, without worrying about what to say on here, lol.

Today’s Albums (5/5): Plastic Hearts by Miley Cyrus

Verdict: First time, technically. Pretty good! Definitely a more unique vocal style than your typical female pop stars. Kinda wish it went a little bit harder, lol.

Favorite cuts: WTF Do I Know, Midnight Sky, Hate Me
October 16, 2025 at 12:10 AM
Today’s Albums (4/5): Outlandos D’Amour by the Police

Verdict: Very fun. I love the instrumentation, especially the percussion. Has that undeniable beat you can’t help tapping along with.

Favorite cuts: Roxanne, Hole in My Life, Can’t Stand Losing You
October 16, 2025 at 12:10 AM
Today’s Albums (3/5): Ummagumma by Pink Floyd

Verdict: Not great. Just a lot of noise, with seemingly no real purpose or payoff. Also way too long for what it is.

Favorite cuts: Careful with That Axe Eugene, Grandchester Meadows, The Narrow Way pt. 3
October 16, 2025 at 12:10 AM
Today’s Albums (2/5): Chaos Angel by Maya Hawke

Verdict: First time. Pretty good. Very indie, which is fine by me. Definitely need to hear more.

Favorite cuts: Black Ice, Wrong Again, Big Idea
October 16, 2025 at 12:09 AM
Today’s Albums (1/5): Baduizm by Erykah Badu

Verdict: First time. Very easy to listen and get into. Kinda faded into background noise at certain points though. Which, sometimes that’s what the mood calls for.

Favorite cuts: Other Side of the Game, Certainly, 4 Leaf Clover
October 16, 2025 at 12:09 AM
To each their own and all headcanons are valid and all that jazz, but

It does surprise me sometimes that there are people who believe that Steve “don’t bully me, I’ll cum” Harrington is a Dom, lol.

(he’s also a bottom but I feel like that one is slightly more negotiable to me)
October 14, 2025 at 12:01 AM
Today’s Albums (5/5): Psychopomp by Japanese Breakfast

Verdict: First time. Definitely one of the more unique things I’ve listened to over the course of this project. Very interesting, if not a bit too short overall.

Favorite cuts: In Heaven, Psychopomp, Triple 7
October 13, 2025 at 4:54 AM
Today’s Albums (4/5): Frogstomp by Silverchair

Verdict: Decent 90s grunge knockoff. Some really good instrumentation, but you can definitely tell how young they were when they made it.

Favorite cuts: Tomorrow, Shade, Leave Me Out
October 13, 2025 at 4:54 AM
Today’s Albums (3/5): Southeastern by Jason Isbell

Verdict: First time. Really good! Sorry it took me this long to get to him. Maybe not 100% my typical style, but I’m definitely eager to hear more.

Favorite cuts: Traveling Alone, Live Oak, New South Wales
October 13, 2025 at 4:54 AM
Today’s Albums (2/5): The All-American Rejects by the All-American Rejects

Verdict: Pretty decent. It’s not very timeless though - I mean, this thing is 2000s alt rock to its core. Not necessarily a bad thing, mind.

Favorite cuts: My Paper Heart, Time Stands Still, Too Far Gone
October 13, 2025 at 4:54 AM
Today’s Albums (1/5): Beyond Beyond Beyond by the Crane Wives

Verdict: First time. Very good! Definitely one I’m disappointed I haven’t gotten to until now. Need to hear more ASAP.

Favorite cuts: Higher Ground, Arcturus Beaming, Red Clay
October 13, 2025 at 4:53 AM
Today’s Albums (5/5): Collective Soul (‘95) by Collective Soul

Verdict: First time. Nice 90s alt rock. And if y’all know me, you know how much I love 90s alt rock, lol. Some songs do drag a bit, unfortunately.

Favorite cuts: Simple, December, She Gathers Rain
October 9, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Today’s Albums (4/5): The Ghost of Tom Joad by Bruce Springsteen

Verdict: Very good. More quiet and simplistic than other Springsteen I’ve heard. A bit dark, but also strangely comforting.

Favorite cuts: title track, Dry Lightning, My Best Was Never Good Enough
October 9, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Today’s Albums (3/5): Stick Season by Noah Kahan

Verdict: First time. Pretty good. I like the folksiness of it. Probably could have trimmed it down by a few songs, though.

Favorite cuts: All My Love, Growing Sideways, Still
October 9, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Today’s Albums (2/5): The Game by Queen

Verdict: Really great. The best tracks are the ones you already know, but there’s more than that.

Favorite cuts: Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Sail Away Sweet Sister
