Really good win this for #WatfordFC U21 in the Premier League Cup. The Everton side featured Armando Broja who is returning from injury and Scottish International Nathan Patterson, so a decent scalp. Helped by Patterson seeing red, but Watford reacted impressively, taking control of the game.

Delighted to take posession of this lovely bit of #WatfordFC history thanks to the guys at the Watford Treasury. It really is stunning. Less pleased that after surviving unscathed for over 50 years it was almost ruined as the postie decided to leave it outside in the torrential rain.

I think my abiding thought from last night’s #WatfordFC AOP Q&A is just how lucky we are to have Tom. Laser focussed, unrelentingly high standards, ambitious, personable, engaging, brave, firm and fair. All attributes that have clearly earned him the respect of his peers and players. He’ll go far.
