Just a random collection of cells thrown together and animated for a brief moment in time.
Actually had my first full, uninterrupted, 30 minute lunch break of the year today. Hooray for me!🎉

Can someone explain to me why non-Jewish government officials are wearing yamulkas at Jewish events? I can understand if it's in a synagogue, I suppose, but not when it's an outdoor event or not in a synagogue.

Tolerance of belief goes both ways, right?

My latest past time as a perimenopause-rage-filled woman is to not veer off the path on my morning walk when people coming in the opposite direction take up the entire path or are not keeping left.

Morning, world!

The ridiculous thing about the hate speech laws is that it's just speech. It doesn't do anything about *actions* that actually have a negative impact.

A person saying that Zionists are arseholes is much less of a threat to humanity than a Zionist who fundraises for, or serves in, the IDF.

As someone who always tries to actively engage with all perspectives, it's quite funny seeing the 'Left' (whatever that even is these days) making the same complaints about government, freedom and digital overreach as the 'Right' (whatever that is these days) was making during Covid.

Although I'm pro-Palestine, I've never gone a rally, because I think economic boycotts are more powerful than standing in a park chanting stuff that annoys people. But if the government is going to start being arseholes about protests, I will sure as hell front up to protest that.

I know it looks weird, but it is so yummy! Edamame, broccoli, spinach, basil, lemon, garlic, nooch, salt, soy milk - all blended together and mixed with pulse pasta. Pinched from Broccoli Mum. #plantbased #wfpb

So...is it now normal to leave your car running with the aircon in when you go into the shops? I saw three cars today where this was happening.

Cleaning out my computer's image folders and found this screenshot from 2020 (I think - that's what the datestamp says, but I feel like we were in lockdown then?).

I had to buy a new Omega 3 brand as my usual was out of stock. The new brand recommends 3 caps for ELDERLY OVER 50.

ELDERLY! OVER 50! 😄

I'm 50 this year and I do not like the prospect of being referred to as elderly just yet. 😄

I'm putting together some units for kindy HSIE and SciTech. I'm trying to use Aboriginal third party resources to address the Aboriginal content as it's not my knowledge to share, but all the sample lessons and resources are way too linguistically/conceptually difficult for kindy.

So...is there some kind of school counsellor crisis?

Out on my evening walk. Two absolute derro bogans went past, shirtless, on ebikes and one was wearing an Australian flag as a cape.

They stopped and turned to me and asked me if Australia Day was today...

🤦‍♀️

Latest #plantbased experiment - Burmese tofu! Chickpea + water, heated and stirred for about 10 minutes, poured into a container and set as a slab in the fridge. Cut it up, coat it in preferred flavourings, air fry to preferred level of crispiness. Cheap, healthy and yum!

Driving through the Gong today and I cannot get over how many houses/apartments/cars have Australian flags on them. This isn't the Australia I grew up in. The overt nationalism/patriotism is terrifying, because in the current climate it's usually just racism in polite clothing.

Ditched Spotify yesterday because I wasn't paying attention and didn't realise I tio yesterday how shit its CEO is and how little artists get.

Now I'm wondering what other stuff I spend money on that contributes to a shit world. So hard to keep on top of it all.

Just saw today's job feed. Thinking of all those poor Principals trying to sort staffing with just over a week before kids are back. Poor buggers.

I deleted Facebook today. May leave here. On Insta for the recipes.
I agree with Foz's mum.
These screens are making it impossible for the population to not be puppets on a string. We need a disconnection revolution.
my 75yo mother told me last night that she’s planning to delete Instagram and Facebook because she’s sick of not being able to tell what’s AI and what’s not, and I genuinely don’t think tech companies have reckoned with this kind of move as an actual possibility
