People are the cybersecurity vulnerability, whether it's coding, configuration, or behavior, and we spend all our time trying to patch our way out of it with software updates or new tech. Too bad we can't patch people's behavior.
Having worked for 10 years in the Navy in the Sigint world and 30 plus in Cyber, I can't even begin to comprehend any scenario where this doesn't come back and bite him and us. Imagine if any former Cold War-era US President or Defense Secretary had said to stop monitoring and tracking the USSR.
