Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is @ronaldmcgillvray.bsky.social and I write horror and dark fantasy. With so many new followers lately, I thought this would be the perfect time to reach out to them and to anyone who is unfamiliar with me. (1/3)
Did you know that the first three books in @michaelshotter.com’s Nod/Wells Timelines are now available together in one glorious edition? Not only that, but coming this March, the Kindle edition will be offered at a special price? Now you do. 😀

I love getting reviews but this one was a bit special. To find a review from someone that hasn’t really read horror before but enjoyed “Cutter’s Deep” enough to give it five stars. That’s how I like to start my weekend. Thanks to Marion for the kind review. 😀

With an average temperature, so far, of almost -20 degrees celsius here, Sherlock’s paws were having a hard time. So, if he likes it or not he’s wearing his galoshes whenever we go out. Hopefully, now that we’re in February it’ll start getting a bit warmer. 🐶

I won’t say what I was watching or reading because I don’t want to give away spoilers. But, I was surprised when it happened, how could I let myself fall into that trap? It wasn’t even a main character! Ah, the trials and tribulations of being a horror fan. 😀

Listen to @gabino.bsky.social and his kind and wise words. Keep at it everyone. 😀
Your monthly reminder:

Keep writing. When no one cares, persist. When things appear to be crumbling, keep at it. When it's difficult, push through. When you feel alone, listen to the stories in your blood. Just write. The world needs your stories.

I’ll keep you updated on my latest work in progress. Thanks again for all your support. Today is the last day of my week long birthday celebration. We’re having family over, so hopefully there’ll be more cake. 😀
Until I finish my new book, why not check out these ones:

The concept of having a camera that can capture your most secret dreams and desires is more than intriguing. Having the camera also being a portal into your private, nightly dreamscape, however, is downright frightening. (1/3)

Grateful for another trip around the sun, but I’m just here for the cake. Have a great day. 🎂😀

An unforgettable descent into the madness of a broken serial killer’s mind. Erin Banks follows up her first book, “About Rage” with part two of her trilogy. Where our protagonist was a lucid, rational killer in the first book, in this one she has gone off the rails. (1/2)

To make it easier for you to buy or review my dad’s books, I’ve included a link below for you. I’d buy lots of his books myself except none of the banks will issue me a credit card because I’m a dog. So unfair. Please make my dad’s birthday a special one. 🐶

Here’s a final glimpse into my newest book that I’m working on. I have this picture pinned to my cork board to keep me in the right frame of mind. Well, it’s time to get back to some serious writing now. Hope you’ve enjoyed the little peek into my latest project. Have a great weekend. 😀

Here’s a hint on what the new book I’m writing is all about. As many of you know, I enjoy crossing genres and this one won’t disappoint. It’s going to be a wild one and it’s been a blast to write. 😀

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything in first person, actually not since “Tales Fom The Parkland.” However, my new story begged to be written in first person and it’s really working well. If you’re in the mood for something in first person while you wait for me to finish my new book, (1/2)

After numerous failed attempts, I’ve finally found an idea that I look forward to working on. Of course, it’s my usual cross genre mashup but still steeped in horror. I’ll be dropping a few hints to whet your appetites over the next few days. I’m back baby. 😀

Both books share the same world and have some crossover characters. I’m often asked which book readers should start with and I would have to say Cutter’s Deep. Looking for a horror read tinged with fantasy world building? Look no further and check them out here:

I apologize for this post. Sherlock somehow got a hold of my phone when I wasn’t looking. There is no Sherlock treat fund, he gets fed more than enough treats. I’m not surprised that he’s figured out how to take a selfie, but who knew he could type? If he tries to friend you, please let me know. 🐶 😀

Happy to report that after my Christmas feeding frenzy, I’ve finally managed to lose all the weight that I’d gained. Now I just have to keep exercising and watching what I eat until next Christmas. Stay healthy everyone. 😀

“The Candy Witch” is waiting for you out in the dark. She has no mercy. She has no remorse. All she has is a burning need for vengeance and a handful of sweets. Lock your doors, lock your windows and always keep a light on because “The Candy Witch” is out there. (1/2)
