Lake Therio (1/4) 🌲✨

Bellow them is a lake with the title: RomeTwin Illustration Presents - Lake Therio. We see an establishing shot of a campground at a lakeside: Small cabins and a flagpole with a therian flag to the left, a big dining hall in the muddle, and a wilderness to the right. May stares at the large sign "Lake Therio. Welcome Campers!" looming over her. She seems nervous, which isn't helped by the bush moving next to her. May's chosen-sister, June, jumps from out of the bush to scare her. She screams. May, annoyed: Don't do that, June! June: Alley cats can't help it! Wanna go for an early swim? May: Uh... I heard that's bad luck, like you'll grown an extra... eyeball on your leg or something. June: Ewww! That's gross!! June decides to act positive, as May looks nervous. June: Hm. May, if you HAD to grow an extra body part, which would it be? May: I know I know! An extra... HEAD! (To bite more people) May starts chasing June playfully around the camp grounds. June: AAAA! Get away from me, ya two-headed weirdo! May: Reheheh Jo and his father are in front of their car as Jo is handed a backpack and a travel bag. His father looks concerned. Jo's Dad: Remember Jo, respect the counselors and their rules. They have your best interest in mind. Jo: Yes, sir. - Xavier is with his mother as she drops him off. She's beaming with pride in her son! Xavier looks bashful. Xavier's mom: I hope you like the trunks, you look so handsome! Xavier: Don't think I'll need them here, Mom. - Jo's dad: Don't forget to double check your orientation status, and call us every night before bed. Jo: Yes, sir. - Xavier's mom: You excited for the summer, baby? Xavier: YEAH! - Jo's dad: You earned this by keeping your grades up. If you continue to do so, you can keep doing... this. I don't get it, but a deal's a deal. Jo: Thanks, dad! - Xavier's mom overhears the conversation between Jo and his dad. Before leaving Xavier, she has one last thing to say: Xavier's mom: Love you, Xavier!! Don't forget to make lots of friends! Xavier: Uhhh okay Mom. I love you too.

sometimes instagram recommends me videos made by furries, and generally they start out pretty funny.

but then i'll scroll through the creator's other videos and their jokes over and over just devolve into:

"AREN'T FURRIES DEGENERATE PERVERTS?? I HATE BEING A FURRY ITS SO EMBARRASSING"

i just got back home yesterday after visiting friends and family in CA for the holidays! it was such a great time.

got to be back in familiar surroundings, caught up with folks and had good food. after being away for half a year i needed this, and it only cost me a sore throat!

totally worth it 💖

Part 1/3 In April, I made a comic, looking back at the last 8 years since moving to, and finding my place in Canada. I had a lot of folks say it inspired them to want to move themselves. I decided to make a follow up comic with some handy tips on how to make moving to a new town/country easier.

If you're not trans, I don't think I can fully explain how important this is.

It's so powerful that one of the most circulated science media publications in the world has come out and said "trans children are real and providing transition care improves their lives." That's groundbreaking.

Written and Illustrated by Gwen 'RomeTwin' Romer Jasper and Ark are laughing in Jasper's car before he drops his boyfriend off at his apartment. J: Well, we're here! A: Thanks, babe. Both men kiss. J: Ark, may I come inside? I still haven't been to your apartment yet. Ark looks nervous at this suggestion. A: Maybe another time... Jasper takes a moment to respond. J: That's fine. Catch ya later. Jasper walks away, feeling uneasy. Ark walks into his apartment and pokes his head into his Ba Noi's (grandma) bedroom. A: Hey Ba Noi! B: Xin Chao, con. (Hello, my child.) Have fun with your friend? A: Yeah, just talked over dinner. B: When I get to meet him? His next visit I can cook for us! Ark is petrified by this suggestion. A: Maybe another time... Jasper drives home, but can't get Ark's hesitance out of his head. He yells "FUCK!" to himself, and drives to Ted's house (ex-boyfriend/friend to his co-worker David). T: Jasper, my man! J: Hey Ted. Hope I'm not here at a bad t- T: Not at all! I can always use company. So, what's good? J: Honestly? Haven't been great, man. All in my head about Ark. I need advice...
