Influenced by #JeanGiraud, #VanGogh, and #Gauguin, I explore bold colors and expressive strokes. Van Gogh’s cherry blossoms struck me, but my connection is personal—I worked in orchards while in art school. This 36x48-inch oil painting pays tribute to those artists while reflecting my own journey.

I saw YouTube video of an artist painting a Sunset and acrylics and I wondered if I could pull it off in oils. After painting this I decided to invest in some professional grade acrylics and spend a couple of weeks doing some acrylic paintings again. I'll let you all know how it goes. #Oilpainting
