the goal of therapy is to diagnose the flavours of disorders that you have and then plan a treatment such that you can live a full life and you don't have the 'disorders' anymore. if u have major depressive disorder, the goal isn't to never let u be sad again, but to not let the disorder control u.

what have i got going for me rn? i don't have a job, i haven't learned all of the things i want to learn - i am simply following my heart, and i know that i am going to end up in a great place because of it.

there is a reason why academic papers are organised the same way - to streamline the absorption of large quantities of dense academic material for academicians.

i think you start feeling real stupid once you start pretending/overselling being really smart. because you don't really feel that smart, you really feel that stupid.

"follow your passion regardless of what it can give you" that's nice, but i want to follow my passion for a very specific reason and that's to gain love for it, love from millions of people. because i'll follow my passion regardless when i'm alone in my room, but i want something from it too

a lot of people grow up confused because we have words like 'humane' which defines kindness and benevolence and associates it with our species whereas our species has been the most wilfully cruel, destructive and malicious species on earth. our language makes us confused
