At last, my first piece for #birbfest2026!! Naturally realized only after starting on the blues that my usual set has a great variety of the wrong tone of blue so... it's a bit of a cluster but I did have fun 😅

First art of the year hot off the presses!! (It was actually sketched NYE and coloured yesterday but shhh) Roseate spoonbills have fascinating colouration and I really enjoyed the challenge of trying to match it :D

Just finished up two afternoons wrestling with krita to make a holiday card template for my mom - hopefully this bumblebee and her (and my) good wishes make up for the month-long absence (yikes, sorry everyone)

- Got back into (semi)consistently making art!
