I do wanna share something positive which is that at the grand age of 37 I've become a Dan and Phil fan.
For some reason I find it very comforting to watch videos by two millenial queer men who grew up in England, are into video games and anime and had emo phases.
Cause that's super relatable XD

A while ago, I decided to take a social media break for mental health reasons. I removed apps from my phone and put time limits on some. I needed time to consider my relationship with social media and now I’ve realised I need to put my feelings out there so I can move forward.

Screw it, one more thought I've mulled over lately - people have absolutely no sense of what is and isn't mainstream knowledge anymore.
Any time someone says 'everyone knew this, you have no excuse' all I can think is how many massively successful YouTubers I never heard of until the scandal.

The "There's too many charcaters" superhero fil criticism to me feels often like regurgitating the criticism of Spider-man 3 without fully getting why it was a problem in that film.
The issue wasn't that it had 3 villains.
It was each villain had full arcs that barely touched each other.

Okay so... I know that detectives in murder mystery stories will have personality quirks to make them abrasive and that it's a tightrope walk to make them ot unlikeable.
