Fighting the Cost of Living. There are always savings to be made with your personal finances. Making such changes is no longer just a optional extra but essential. Yet apathy often stops people getting a better deal.

Into the Uncanny by Danny Robins (2023). An interesting and engaging book version of the Uncanny podcast. It works mainly due to the author's personality and inherent people skills. It also takes a very even handed approach to the subject.

Der Tiger AKA The Tank (2025). Despite its WWII setting, this is not a traditional war film but something quite different. Interesting but tips its hand too quickly. Featuring a superb recreation of a Tiger tank.

Turn the volume up to 11 and rhythmically beat your drinking vessel on a roughly fashioned oak table. It would be rude not to.

@mikemuncer.bsky.social Looking forwards to Monday's episode of Carry On Up the Podcast and your forensic dissection of Carry on Up the Jungle. There's so much to unpack. Comedy Gorilla's, blackface and "Nookadicky. Dickanooky".

Anyone else use Reshade with #LOTRO? The latest update crashes the game for me. I had to roll back to the previous version. Is this happening for anyone else?

Treasure Island (1990). A gritty and faithful adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel, starring Charlton Heston, Christopher Lee, Oliver Reed and Christian Bale. These pirates are not the lovable rogues found in contemporary pop culture.
