Today is my last day of actual food before the colonoscopy. I go on the Clear Liquid Diet starting 9 PM. Two and a half days of broth, sprite, ginger ale, popsicles, black coffee, tea with honey and water.

I am getting my first colonoscopy next Thursday so I am beginning my prep tomorrow. It’s simple right now: no nuts, oats, popcorn, etc. But Tuesday I stop eating food and have to be on the Clear Liquid Diet, which is going to be interesting. Two full days of no proper food and shitting my bones out.

I’m not surprised. I’ve actually paid off my current phone but the new ones are just iterative so I won’t get a new one until this fails. Apple needs to do something new with the hardware if they want to see sales go back up. And not just gimmicky like folding phones (really don’t want one).

After some soul searching, I don’t think I’m ready to date yet. I still feel like I’m doing something wrong just chatting with new women. I guess just a side effect of being married for so long and it being the only person you’ve ever been with.

I want to get people excited and interested. And maybe it’s just my self doubt talking here but maybe having such a common monster be the introduction wouldn’t help sell the series.

On the one hand, even with the variation I’m adding in, vampires are accessible. Everyone knows what they are and what they do.
On the other hand, they know that because EVERYONE does vampires so maybe it would just be cliche do open with them.
