I just found out one of my closest friends passed away yesterday. He was only 39 but he had done so much with his short life. I'm completely speechless and it doesn't feel real.

I was trying to come with Halloween songs for the kids on our walk to school this morning and I failed spectacularly because not only could I only remember 3 songs, Ghostbusters was not one of them and I barely remembered the words to those 3.

When I saw my son's neurologist for his ADHD earlier this month I stated how I wasn't sure if I wanted to start him on medication just yet. She said that was a good idea because if the school saw him at his worst, they might actually provide him the services he needs.
