Very happy to start my FWO-funded postdoctoral fellowship today, working with @harryzeko.bsky.social , Jordi Bolibar, and @marit-vantiel.bsky.social. Our project will explore how glaciers buffer streamflow droughts worldwide 🌊🌍 and how this role may change under what-if scenarios🔥🧊.

⛰️ In a new study in @science.org, we project that 39% of the global glacier mass is committed to be lost irrespective of future warming.
However, a lot can still be saved - see title:
