Oak Forest at Harcourt/Mt Alexander in Central Victoria, i went scouting possible locations for a maternity shoot for my 2nd eldest daughter who has requested that i take them for her and her partner.

Definitely won't get photos, couldn't find a good place to go with a nice foreground subject 😕
Currently on Aurora watch, although it's meant to peak around 3am to 6am so I'm not sure I'll get any photos

Melbourne just created a new world record for the most Bag pipers(374) all playing along to ACDC "It’s a long way to the top" it featured ages from as young as about 8 yr to a 98 yr old plus 2 of the guys from the original film clip/song

I'm Knackered now after a 400km round trip, and standing in the heat all day. Deleted most bad shots on the fly today, but still came back with 410 to sort and edit 👍

Off to take some motor racing photos tomorrow, 2 hour drive so an early start for me to be there before 8.30am when track time kicks off. It's meant rain too, so hopefully a lot of action especially from the Super Trucks

Got my lens tripod collar for the 100-400mm today and considering the tracking wasn't updated very well, i must say that to take only 9 days from ordering to receiving from China is pretty good going imo.
