In the early 2000’s I worked at WNET in NYC on Now with Bill Moyers. He and his wife Judith were some of the warmest and most sincere people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Rest in Peace Bill.
Bill Moyers, the former White House press secretary turned broadcast journalist who became a mainstay on PBS, has died at the age of 91.

Moyers’ son, William, said his father died after a “long illness” at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York.

At the age of 14, my family and I moved from a diverse economically disadvantaged community to a more affluent town, with much less diversity. It was a lateral move housing wise. It’s informed my unique perspective on belonging and how community dynamics shape opportunities & worldviews.
