Park hall cp
Merlin hunting flock of 30 linnet between parkhall and Hulme. 8 crossbill flying over the conifers appeared to land only my 2nd record here. Also 20 redpoll, 2 siskin ,3 chiffchaff, 10+ Goldcrest. Also a fine selection of fungi on display still too. #staffsbirding #staffsbirds #fungi

Trentham gardens this afternoon produced a site tick with osprey heading south at 16:33 Also 22 gadwall, 20 Cormorant, 8 little egret, 2 ring-neck parakeets. Found a lunar underwing on the entrance hut. #staffsbirds #staffsbirding #teammoth

Frustrating views of a possible lesser emperor while watching the small red-eyed damselflies showing the blue saddle before losing sight over the water. Also common sandpiper, 7 little egret, mandarin present. #dragonflies #odonata #staffsbirds
