Today is the hottest day of the year in Germany so far and the day for the monthly sampling for the canister samples in the net4cities project. Due to sunshine and the high emissions from the stressed vegetation, the ozone concentration will be high.

Great to see that the #VOC measurements within the net4cities prohect have been started
A key milestone: the first coordinated VOC and GHG sampling at traffic hotspots in 11 European cities, supported by Forschungszentrum Jülich @fz-juelich.de. This monthly campaign will provide valuable data to better understand traffic-related emissions across Europe.

Water vapour trends from commercial aircraft flights ✈️

Researchers from ICE-3 and ICE-4 @fz-juelich.de have monitored the trend of water vapour concentrations from 60,000 flights of within the IAGOS research infrastructure.
