After 34 years in education as a teacher, coach, and school administrator, the last five as Superintendent of the Aurora City Schools, I am now running for the 2026 Ohio State Senate seat in District 27 (Portage, Geauga, & Summit Counties)

I enjoyed attending the Geauga Dems Executive Committee meeting last night as it gave me a chance to listen to some of the great initiatives planned for 2026. I also picked Terry Carson's brain concerning campaigning & found out more about the 1/10/26 Town-Hall @geaugademocrats.bsky.social

Awesome "WTF is Happening with Food" event last night. I was able to hear both stories of food insecurity in the area as well as ways to support folks with food insecurity including through the Flashes Fighting Hunger, the Haymaker Food Assistance Program, and the brand new "Free Fridge"
