Notes:
0. Omg, I ramble A LOT. I apologize! Pls listen to this on 2x.😅

1. Paraphrasing @jay.bsky.team: "Today's [Substack] could be tmr's adversary." Curation's the next big thing. Whoever who builds SS on top of @atproto.com will become a millionaire!

Generative AI is essentially the "Materializer Microwave" from Star Trek. The device where you just request whatever you want and then it constructs it at the molecular level, atom-by-atom. 3D printers is also similar. They're all bottom-up generation processes vs top-down processes used previously.

In graph theory, there are algorithms that find the shortest path between two nodes. I made one with pure CSS (including the graph drawing).

Drag the nodes, and the shortest path will update in real-time!

From Character Limit: Twitter spent "tens of millions" on their 3-day OneTeam event in Houston in Jan2020. One night, they even rented out all of Minute Maid Park(home of the Houston Astros)for fireworks.

Reading CL, it's clear that Twitter was horribly mismanaged. Costs were wildly out of control.

"The best way to predict the future is to invent it" is a famous aphorism by computer scientist Alan Kay in the 1970s, emphasizing that proactive creation shapes destiny better than passive anticipation. It encourages [ppl] to actively design, create, and act rather than merely reacting to change.

Greater Los Angeles
I got back from Los Angeles last night and my head is still spinning. I’d move there again in a heartbeat. There are three great cities in the United States: there’s Los Angeles, Chicago…

In New Zealand if you go with your parent to a bar you can buy a drink for the 14-year-old because the parent is there. In New Zealand they call this the "resilience model" to try to help kids acclimate to alcohol vs the American model where there's no acclamation.

"When you love with the whole of your heart, there is always the possibility of being hurt. Of having your entire world burn down and left in ruin. But I ask you then, what is the alternative? To never love at all? Because that, a world where you never love with all you have, is a hell even worse."

What I especially love ab Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus's story is that *after* he wrecks the Aequi tribe in the Alban Hills and saves the Roman army, Cincinnatus then *returns to his farm* to chill.😎 What a legend!! Leaders like George Washington took after his example.

Season 1, Ep 4: "Start Line" in My Hero Academia is my favorite ep in all of anime. Both this scene and the All Might holocast scene at the end when Uraraka's trying to share her points w/ Midoriya. I've watched them ~10,000 times for ~9 years now. Still tear up every time.
