Just a good basic scrappy quilt. I love how the border turned out on this one. It was one of those fabrics that I wasn't sure if it would work. Pleasantly surprised.

This was done by machine. Because 99%of my quilts go to charities everything must be machine done. Only because I don't know how it will be cared for. So I want it to last a long time.

Here is another one that started with simple squares. I just put a folded square on the corner and then stitched down in the quilting.

Exactly oh the possibilities with those leftover scraps. I learned this from my grandmother years ago. Every time I sew I think of her and what she taught me.

The beauty of quilting is it is all straight seams. So a little practice makes it possible and doable. Especially this quilt.
