Is he clinical enough Kev? Career record of 1 in 4? I haven’t seen much of him and seemed a nuisance at Wolves, but not sure if he’s the natural goalscorer we’ll be needing.

We can afford significantly more than what he is on right now though. Offer him 250k p/wk and option to go in the month of June each summer for a reasonable fixed fee of £150m. Gives player assurances of options, and a better wage in the meantime. Gives us another year (at least) of best striker ITW

Mark is on the record previously as saying we had already set aside a sizeable budget for ‘project’ players. This feels like it could be one of those, if the price is right. Imagine he would see the old 6-12 months on the training ground getting ‘Howe fit’ before he saw much game time.

Shame Joelinton misses out, exactly the sort of battle he would shine in. Think Willock should come in with his extra pace and forward thinking. Wouldn’t be entirely surprised if Longstaff was to get the nod though.

Looks like we’ve stumbled games 19-25 last couple of seasons, with the form we are in at minute and with a touch of luck avoiding injuries etc, we may well be within touching distance of that black line again in 5-6 games time 🤞🏻

Yeah,I don’t mind the Tomori links - especially at the suggested price - interesting that he hasn’t featured almost at all for Milan for nearly 2 months despite being fit. Not sure what’s gone on there.

Can still see us returning for Guehi next summer, the price will be far more favourable and the club have proven in the past that they aren’t afraid to bide their time to get their man - especially when the price is right. £40m in July should see it done…

Problem is that even if they were to somehow get to the bottom of the injury issues (which we have now lost the best part of half a season to again already), then his age now becomes almost as big of a factor. He already doesn’t look the same when he *is* on the pitch these days. And then wages…
