Hi! I'm a board game designer in SLC. I'm obsessed with polyominoes and spatial games. I also feature a different board game every week and make a little doodle about it!

Wonderful game night with friends from high school. Hanging out with old friends is so so fun.

Lands of Amazement is the latest Button Shy game to come into my collection. A very nice looking wallet, and I am a sucker for polyomino or theme park games. Looking forward to playing this more!

Finally made my own chicken broth! Those Costco chickens are such a slammin' deal and this just makes them even more valuable.

We were really worried about George last night. He kept squatting after pooping with nothing coming out. Eventually he just sat down and wouldn't walk anymore.

Turns out he got some poop on his butt. Gave him a bath and he's back to normal. What a drama king.

I don't make guac that much, but the world's tiniest red onion really cried out for it.
A cutting board and knife next to an extremely small red onion. The diameter is less than a US 50 cent piece. It's adorable. A bowl of completed guacamole with a chip stuck in it. A bag of lightly seasoned Don Julio tortilla chips. These are so inconsistent with their seasoning. Some chips are completely bald, tasting like the chip equivalent on a La Croix. Some are perfect, but not nearly as many as I want.

Feels nice to get back to thrifting and find this delightful game on my first day back. So squishy!
The cover for If Wishes Were Fishes, where each word of the title is said by a different fish. There were a lot of great times on our trip to the UK, but the food and friends were the best.

Played Medici for the first time tonight. What a game! Very interesting auction dynamics, with how many spaces a player still has or what areas they're specializing in. Definitely helped that I ended up winning.

Played Dohdles! tonight, designed by Klaus Teuber. Sculpt something well, but not TOO well. Pretty fun! And that dough is very satisfying to mold.
