I don’t think there were any Russians at the party. By the way, the beer in the garden thing has fallen apart. The boxes disintegrated in the rain and half a dozen bottles have fallen into ‘the area’. I’m going to have to go down there on a ladder.

If I were going to introduce someone to listening to Bowie for the first time I'd play them Hunky Dory because I'm sure they'd like it, so you might be right. Low is also great but it's not for everyone.

With all these old Tories jumping ship to Reform it looks more and more like what happened with the SDP when they briefly had big opinion poll leads and won a few by-elections. There isn't room for both parties and one side are making career-ending decisions.
