Too old for toys.
I actually do.

The neighbour went bankrupt unfortunately and never did the basement (lol). ‘The area’ is all my own problem.

I don’t think there were any Russians at the party. By the way, the beer in the garden thing has fallen apart. The boxes disintegrated in the rain and half a dozen bottles have fallen into ‘the area’. I’m going to have to go down there on a ladder.

He wants his lover to be superhuman - as usual he’s nicked it from a book. In this case, A Grave For A Dolphin. It’s on his list of 100 books to read to understand him.

We mustn’t be constrained by time.

I’m also eating a mince pie that was best before 3 January so I’m probably sending mixed signals.

I’m wearing some perfume I found on the mantlepiece. This could be the new me.

Trump would want it even more if it was called that.

That’s reach not users and looks dubious even for that.

Number of accounts. Including dormant, duplicates and bots.

A government minister just said on Channel 4 News that 19 million Britons use X. If they’re saying stuff like this, it makes it difficult to believe everything else they say.

The House of Lords is populated by the ghosts of politics past. Soon we’ll have AI versions of them all telling us what to do.

❤️‍🔥Tory sources confirm that Nadhim Zahawi made approaches to senior members of Kemi Badenoch's team about getting a peerage just weeks before defecting to Reform UK - but was turned down.

And kids love The Laughing Gnome, as I found out when my then 4-year-old heard it and we had to play it 10 times a day for a while.

If I were going to introduce someone to listening to Bowie for the first time I'd play them Hunky Dory because I'm sure they'd like it, so you might be right. Low is also great but it's not for everyone.

With all these old Tories jumping ship to Reform it looks more and more like what happened with the SDP when they briefly had big opinion poll leads and won a few by-elections. There isn't room for both parties and one side are making career-ending decisions.

We've launched an investigation into X over Grok sexualised imagery.

We've opened a formal investigation into X under the Online Safety Act, to determine whether it has complied with its duties to protect people in the UK from content that is illegal in the UK.

Three fire engines at the university halls of residence. The students must be up and cooking breakfast.

I’ve listened to this week’s new singles so you don’t have to. Most notable are Bruno Mars doing a very good Leo Sayer rip-off and Mumford & Sons having the absolute nerve to release something called The Banjo Song, as if that wasn’t what all their others were.

Ofcom really don’t have much of a choice but to temporarily ban X now but on past performance I’m sure they’ll find a way not to.

I reckon that's why they stopped her being the secret traitor. She was probably being a right madam about it off camera.

She's going to have quite a downfall. I hope she can cope.

I read this as “mortality”, which would also work.
