A great afternoon of Niagara Ironbacks baseball today with my friend @robbiekw.bsky.social - great to see @wilnerness.bsky.social and @niagararegion.bsky.social Chair Jim Bradley at George Taylor Field (always Community Park to me!)

It was a great event earlier this month at Pride Niagara’s Unity Awards dinner. Kathie and I were pleased to attend.

Two more in the box for Mark Carney and @chrisbittle.bsky.social! @katekw.bsky.social and I voted today.

Hi @rachelgilmore.bsky.social! The reporter is Bill Sawchuk, a great journalist with the St. Catharines Standard. You’ll notice Poilievre doesn’t actually answer Bill’s question.
Oh holy fuck the second question more than made up for it lmao.

Poilievre on the local Conservative candidate’s anti-abortion advocacy and whether he’ll allow a free vote on the issue.

“I can guarantee you there will be no laws restricting abortion passed when I’m prime minister,” Poilievre said.

This is pretty rich coming from Preston Manning, who did more than most to endanger Canadian Unity.
Opinion: Mark Carney poses a threat to national unity
If he remains prime minister after this election, there is a very real possibility that Western Canada will move to secede

I’m relieved the Conservative Party of Canada is addressing the very important issue in this federal election.

It was a great open house at the campaign office for @chrisbittle.bsky.social last night. There’s lots of hard work ahead but Chris has a fantastic team.

This morning I had a great coffee catch up with Anusha Pahuja, President of the @brockuniversity.bsky.social Students’ Union. She’s a colleague on the University’s Board of Trustees and was updating me on the student union’s future plans, plus hers as she graduates this spring.

good line of questioning here from Heinrich underlining how despite Trump's rhetoric, Canada isn't mentioned a single time in the intelligence community's threats assessment

@katekw.bsky.social and I are lending our front lawn to @chrisbittle.bsky.social for the election campaign. He’s a good friend and has been a wonderful MP for St. Catharines.

Well worth considering. And, in my opinion, another reason why in the upcoming Canadian election we can’t deliver the keys to government to a rage farmer who won’t get his security clearance.

Update: Kathie and I have now now booked an August trip with Frontiers North to Winnipeg, Riding Mountain National Park and Churchill Manitoba 🇨🇦
My wife Kathie and I did our bit to push back against the US administration yesterday. We cancelled a Princess cruise we had planned for September. We’ll take a vacation to Canadian destinations this year. 🇨🇦
