Walking around #Phitsanulok , I visited a street market and this temple. The city was my favourite, with food and nightlife, but also space to walk along the river in peace, something Bangkok seemed to lack.

Good street food at #bangkokchinatown , for a meal I would look for seats and follow the golden rule; eat where the locals eat. However, there is no need to avoid the tourist food, almost all is good, even the bad is worth a try, just beware; you can break the bank doing it!

Passing time. After visiting Wat Arun, #bangkok , I decided to walk back to the hostel and see what was going on locally. I found a place to eat and caught these locals playing chess (?) nearby. There wasn't much going on, but that was quite nice.

Bangkok Chinatown. I wanted a balance of tourism, local community, and convenience (close to the metro), this area excelled for all. The peak times are extremely busy, but there is a lot to explore if you have the time.
