Bought a book. Dated 1914, and complete with a handwritten gift notification from New York, it somehow ended up in Oxfam in Woodbridge, Suffolk, where I bought what feels like a slice of American history for £10. And it's gorgeous.

Well, it's superb. Great fun to build,
and a Lego set of equivalent detail - and only marginally higher quality - would cost a lot more.

At junior school one day, we had to sew 3D shapes and I wanted mine to somehow represent a car, but we were told we had to make them animals.
