Well, after five months of a combo of writers block, changing companies and banging my head on the keyboard, finally finished my second novel. 150k. I'm a #fool for thinking I can do it. Or am I crazy for thinking I can't? Those are my thoughts every morning before getting coffee. They say it's easy but no. Have you ever tried grabbing someone's coffee and running? Sure, some let me go but others chase me. Don't get me started on cars.

The #tranquility eluded me. No matter what I tried, I couldn't relax. No amount of meditation, quiet time, or hobbies could do the trick. I had no idea why my high stress job and skydiving hobby wasn't bringing the calm that I sought. Even the red bull energy drink did nothing. A mystery. #vss365

Just tried submitting a short story for the first time. It's certainly going to be rejected but its an interesting feeling, particularly that no matter what I do, it will never be good enough in my mind. I'm sure the rejection will sting but it helps that this isn't my career lol #writingcommunity

One reason I was reluctant to get into writing short stories is I was afraid I'd run out of ideas too quickly. I've now written three in the last two weeks in order to delay finishing my novel and not running out of ideas yet. We'll see if that lasts. #writingcommunity #shortstory #wip #fiction

Hi, I'm Ray, I write crime thrillers and horror (as an amateur). I'll be spending January focusing on short stories, largely of the horror variety and occasionally different genres, trying to hone my skills and editing the two novels I wrote into something remotely readable. #startingoffwrite

The campers had no idea the mutated #axolotl was watching them. Fifteen feet long as a result of the pollution, it needed a lot of food. Not all the campers, maybe 4 or 5 of them would be enough. It wasn't an evil creature, just a hungry one. It hadn't asked for the habitat to be destroyed. #vss365

No one knew, but there was a #latent flaw in the Boeing planes control system. In an effort to prevent a crash, it would inadvertently cause one by pushing the nose down. Boeing didn't want to tell the pilots. If they did, it would show they were misleading. Nothing would happen. Right? #vss365
