It's hard to find truth on TV these days. Example: The SS Minnow in Gilligan's Isle is a 1964 Wheeler Playmate with a cruising speed of 12 knots. Meaning they couldn't go more than 36 miles on that 3 hour tour. Now, I'm starting to doubt if the show was even real! Let's all sail into a weekend!
