1) Enough wealth already exists to power a post-scarcity society in which everyone has their needs more than met.
2) Gross inequality of late-stage capitalism keeps much of that wealth in a few hands.

It's hard not to wonder what is happening with the orange guy. Looking at his recent behavior, it's hard not to wonder if he is drugged, or if he has just given up because he won and it's too hard to be president. Personally, my guess is he is being drugged.

A CEO's fiduciary responsibility is to act in the best interests of the company and its shareholders. This includes making decisions that are well-informed, transparent, and free from conflicts of interest.
I hope the Tesla board will deal with Musk's is violations of his fiduciary responsibility.

The pardons of the J6 rioters were expected. What surprised me was how MAD it makes me.
There are all the obvious reasons for the pardons. But the most disturbing is that he needs his troops to know he will back them up so they will fight for him again. Totally outrageous!!

Trump didn't win the election because of the economy or his policies, or because Ds are too 'woke'. He won because of people's perceptions of these things. He won because of relentless creation of false perceptions of these things. All engineered. We need to speak up better and smarter!!

Discerning the truth is getting harder and harder. One of the challenges of the age is creating a stable shared view of basic reality. I sure wish I knew how to do that.
