Decided to setup React Native today on macOS and it was a nightmare. Install Ruby because macOS ruby is too old, install cocoapod, only to have the pod install constantly fail.
I don’t know how or why it eventually started working…

There is no safety, security, or pattern argument I can think of that excuses separate steps for entering your username, and then password, in order to log into an account.

On TikTok (and to a lesser extent Instagram) I can curate suggested content by liking some things, and marking others as not for me.
On Twitter it seems like everything I say is not for me gets amplified tenfold.

As an eldritch millennial I’m notoriously bad at using my PTO. To the point that my manager brings it up during our 1:1s.

Two things I want yesterday, as a developer working on a design systems SDK: Customizable Selects, Focusgroup.

There are endless articles on the line between Framework and Design System and it all boils down to one word: Opinion. Design Systems are vastly more opinionated than Frameworks. These opinions provide the consistency and identity that define a design system.
