There's a copy of the USS Colorado's weekly newsletter put out during the search for #AmeliaEarhart, the one in which the pilots saw "signs of recent habitation" on Nikumaroro/Gardner, but this isn't new.

The DNI released the Amelia Earhart files Friday, which has nothing whatsoever to do with any other files being released. I'm going through them (even though I'm on a writers' retreat, dammit). So far I've seen a portrait of Earhart, a gracious FDR letter, and a complaint about a ship's carburetor.
