Your articles are some of the best out there and I find myself referring back to them often. Please keep doing what you’re doing, you’re helping a lot of people (even old hats like me) keep up with CSS 😅

Nicola Willis on #RNZ right now blaming Labour AGAIN for their mismanagement of #NewZealand - JFC, what an absolute joke of a government. It's not like there was a global pandemic that trashed the economy #nzpol

So very shithouse - now moving to https://linkwarden.app/ - open source, self hostable but has a cloud option for $3, looks pretty solid.

Good luck brother! I spent a sizeable chunk of last year evaluating that platform, but ultimately tapped out when my frustration over adding some simple markup hit the roof. The same happened with Wix/StudioX. WYSIWYG editors still have nothing on the efficiency of raw markup.

I’m right there with you! RSS is the way, I’ve been using it for close to 20 years. Still salty at Google over shuttering Reader, though the way Google has gone, that’s probably a good thing.

Learn basic HTML and upload your site to Cloudflare Pages? Granted this would require some basic understanding of the technology, but it would get stuff published easily. It’s when you start adding layers on top like comments, newsletters, analytics, etc. micro.blog would be worth a look.

Walking the Kepler track in Fiordland National Park, #newzealand, Easter this year with my daughter. It's the section between Forest Burn Shelter and Hanging Valley Shelter. Clear sunny day, just some strong gusts of wind. Shot with my #iPhone 13 mini.
