I want substack tokens. I subscribe to many substacks but pay for none. I would buy tokens that I could use to access any single substack publication or discussion but I cannot afford to become a paying member of them all. Audible gives me credits for my subscription. I can buy any book with them.

The Nobel Peace Prize next year should year should go to Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the leader of Qatar. Never Trump who is complicit in Israeli genocide, attacking fishermen in the Caribbean, bombing Iran etc.

Trump just had a cordial meeting with a war criminal who is responsible for the deaths of millions. When is the US going to show some backbone? China is watching.

What happens to all these trade deals done under the auspices of Trumps “emergency “ when the “emergency “ ends? Do they need to be ratified by Congress and if so, do senate filibuster rules apply?

A good thing I am not negotiating. I would have quadrupled the DST and investigated taxing other services for which the U.S. is running a trade surplus.

Maybe Canada should offer Trump a bribe. He seems to be up for it.

Justice Samuel Alito said. “The practical problem is that there are 680 district court judges … and all Article III judges are vulnerable to an occupational disease, which is the disease of thinking that ‘I am right and I can do whatever I want.’”

I don’t think he gets the irony.

How does one negotiate trumped (I acknowledge the pun) up fantasy grievances? By offering fantasy compromises?

How do you negotiate with a liar? Asking for a prime minister.

It’s been said that 75% of those deported to CECOT had no criminal record. By my calculations that’s 177 Abrego Garcias. The press is obsessing over only one.

The harm the Trump administration is doing to Canada is nothing compared to what it is doing to America.
