FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE — The latest installment of the entertainment series was at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in #Amherstburg Feb. 13. Performers were Doc & The Rev, Johnny Mac, Phil Nitz, Carol Laliberte, Joe & Rachel Perry and L’ensemble de la Petit Côte.
The next "Friday Night Live" is March 13.

Friday Night Live was held Feb. 13 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in #Amherstburg and concluded with a performance by The Romains.
The next edition of Friday Night Live will be March 13 and have a St. Patrick's Day theme. It will start at 7 p.m. and the entertainment will be announced soon.

"MAMMA MIA!" — St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic High School is presenting "Mamma Mia!" Shows are Feb. 20-22 & Feb. 26-28. All shows at 7 p.m. except Feb. 22 (1 p.m.).
Tickets $15 for adults/students, $10 seniors/children 6-12 and free for children under six. All seats $10 Feb. 22 and Feb. 26.

JR. WOLVES ADVANCE — The North Star Wolves junior girls volleyball team advanced in the WECSSAA "AA" playoffs with a 25-20, 25-15, 23-25 and 25-17 win over Belle River Feb. 10. They travel to Tecumseh to play L'Essor in the semi-finals Feb. 12 at 4 p.m.

JR. WOLVES ELIMINATED — The WECSSAA "AA" junior boys basketball playoffs opened Feb. 10 with Catholic Central beating North Star 59-57. North Star took a 14-4 lead after one quarter but Catholic Central had good second and third quarters to pull ahead.

Admirals blanked 3-0 by the Wheatley Sharks tonight at the Libro Centre. #Amherstburg outshot Wheatley 39-28 but were unable to solve Sharks' goalie Ethan Davis.
Admirals travel to Mooretown Feb. 14 and close out regular season at home against Walpole Island Feb 15.

WOLVES BUSY IN GIRLS HOCKEY ACTION — The North Star Wolves hosted the Essex Red Raiders Feb. 4 with Essex winning 3-0. The Wolves rebounded Feb. 5 with a 3-2 on the road against Cardinal Carter. Their next game is at home Feb. 9 at 3 p.m. versus Belle River.
