Last year Covenant House Vancouver served more than 160,000 meals to youth. The Drop-In Centre welcomed over 760 youth, the largest number in its history.
Youth have access to showers, laundry, clothes, mental health support, activities, and other services all thanks to CHV donors.
Covenant House Vancouver Thanks the Community
It has been a busy year at Covenant House Vancouver (CHV), and they wanted to reach outand thank everyone for their support and kindness.

$2,500 full body scan said he was healthy. Then he had a stroke wapo.st/3ZfYSw5

Reality: "there is no documented evidence that total body screening is cost-efficient or effective in prolonging life" & potentially harmful (American College of Radiology)

Sum: evidence-free & exploitive money grab.
A $2,500 full body scan said he was healthy. Then he had a catastrophic stroke.
Prenuvo promotes full body MRI scans to detect hazardous conditions early. But medical associations say they may cause unnecessary alarm or a false sense of security.

Seeing a lot of "do not let children anywhere near e-bikes" in my child welfare and injury prevention circles. The issue here though is car dependency. These kids doing impulsive things with them aren't kids who've been on an analog bike since birth, have solid road skills, and now have e-assist. 1/

A few things:

1. Read the room.

2. Crime is at historic lows in Canada.

3. Police do not prevent crime.

4. Funding for education, mental health, drug treatment, housing, youth programs, and other social programs reduces crime.

5. Canadians did not vote for this.
