Indeed! Support someone who is.
If you are lucky enough to not be the target of oppression, then use your privilege to support someone who is. Your support makes these issues harder to dismiss and ignore.

The strong emotions inside you are valid & real.

Tend to the fire that burns.

Stoke it skillfully. It need not rage out of control.

We do so through intentional awareness & self-compassion. Notice how it feels.

You shall gain quiet confidence & courage to do hard things that matter the most.

Baby blue sky.

Sunshine warmth.

Wispy clouds loom.

Small waves of wind.

Cover me in a blanket.

Ground me. Here & now.

Stillness invites us just to stop.

Not doing or saying.

And instead, an opportunity to give our brain and body rest.

Not wanting or needing.

Instead, just being in the moment.

Taking a few slow, full deep breaths. In and out.

Slowing down. Recharging.

Creating space for you.

Thank you, John!

So kind.

This is a story of redemption.
A journey into recovery.

Having an emotionally mature partner is top-tier. You're able to express yourself freely and openly. They don’t insult you, they don't give you the silent treatment, they don't become aggressive or manipulative. They listen, they respond – they gently hold a safe space for you.

Hope can seem impossible.

Try anyway.

It is a mighty act of wellbeing.

To believe things can get better.

And takes power away from those who are not worthy of your pain, anguish, and anger.

Bullies want you to think that you have to be afraid of them and fear their wrath.

That’s bullshit.

You are strong.

You are mighty.

You are more powerful than you can ever believe.

Focus on what heals you and gives you hope.

Live your truth.

Do not let anyone take that away from you.

Fear is a very strong emotion. It can hijack our brain & nervous system.

There are many antidotes to fear.

One approach: Take a slow, full breath in & out. Feel your feet flat on the floor. Repeat 2 more times.

Then tell yourself: “I am a bad ass. I’m strong & mighty. I am not alone.”
